What do we know about Love CBD?
Love CBD’s home is in Newmarket, Suffolk, in the UK. The family-owned company was founded in late 2014, thanks to the growing trend of hemp-based products. Everyone at Love CBD is passionate about spreading the message of the benefits of using CBD products. On the company’s website, you can also find CBD sprays and CBD capsules.
Love CBD uses hemp that is grown without the use of any pesticides, herbicides, artificial fertilizers, or harmful chemicals. All CBD oils are made from hemp flowers that are supplied from organic farms around Europe. Each of Love CBD’s suppliers grows a specialist strain, which later is extracted via a CO2 extraction method conducted at a low temperature.
Love CBD believes that customers should know whether the product they want to purchase contains the advertised amount of CBD, this is why it publishes its lab test results online.
Love CBD is an official member of the Cannabis Trade Association, which ensures that its CBD products are made with the highest standards.
Love CBD Hemp Balm – a ‘little pot of gold’
Love CBD Hemp Balm is called a ‘Little Pot of Gold’ by the members of the company. It has a long list of potential uses. Love CBD Cannabis-Infused Balm is made from 100 percent organic, hand-harvested cannabis flowers that are grown in the sunny fields of Slovenia. Its CBD extract is obtained via the CO2 extraction method. Thanks to low temperatures occurring during this process, the final product is rich in not only CBD but also other cannabinoids and terpenes.
Love CBD Balm has an ultra-clean formula. There’s no water added to it, so the manufacturer didn’t have to add any preservatives or alcohol. All of these active agents in the balm are highly regarded by beauticians as beneficial compounds for your skin. It looks like this product is well-suited for people with sensitive skin types. It contains only trace amounts of THC, which shouldn’t evoke any response in your body. You can apply this Cannabis-Infused Balm onto any targeted area as often as needed.

What does the laboratory report say?
Conveniently, Love CBD publishes its lab test results directly on their website. There could be some small differences between batches, so be sure to check your batch number, which is printed on a sticker located at the bottom of the jar of your balm. I’ve checked the lab test results for my batch number, which is 13. I actually decided to take a look at the analyses for the other batches for comparison, to check if the quality of Love CBD’s products is consistent between different batches (which it is).
The report showed that there is 100 mg of CBD in every 10 grams of the product. Please, keep in mind that the company offers its Cannabis-Infused Balm in three different sizes, therefore if you have 30 ml or 100 ml jar you have to make small calculations to determine the precise amount of cannabinoids in your product.
From the lab test analysis, I’ve learned that the THC content of CBD-Infused Balm was 0.038 percent, which is a negligible amount. Also, the report stated that there is a little bit more of CBN (another cannabinoid), but again, it was only 0.0043 percent of the whole mass of the product. However, it’s good to know that when you apply CBD topicals onto your skin, it actually cannot reach the bloodstream. So even if the amount of THC would be slightly higher it still wouldn’t be able to reach your bloodstream.
Thoughtfully, Love CBD has also decided to reveal the lab test results for the heavy metal content of its product. The lab tested samples for the presence of lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury. The great news is that the Love CBD Balm contains an insignificant amount of heavy metals (<0.000010 percent). In my opinion, this product is safe to use.
My personal experience with Love CBD Hemp Balm
Mini but mighty balm.
Love CBD Hemp Balm arrives in a cardboard box, on which you can find the ingredient list and information about the amount of CBD in the product. The balm itself is in a transparent glass jar with a plastic lid – though I actually thought that the lid was wooden or made of bamboo, because of its design.
After opening the lid, the beautiful scent of this product is revealed. In my opinion, the dominant fragrant is vanilla. Since it’s a natural product, there are no unpleasant chemical fragrances. The balm has a green color. To be more precise, I would describe its tone as an olive or sage color.
Let’s take a look at its texture. In my opinion, Love CBD Balm is very smooth and pleasant to the touch. The balm is thick and waxy, but not too thick nor too sticky. You don’t need to use much of it to cover larger regions of your skin. I caution you to not put too much of it on your skin, because it doesn’t get absorbed right away, therefore your skin may feel greasy for a little while.
Has Love CBD Hemp Balm healed and soothed my skin?
Love CBD Hemp Balm contains not only CBD but also shea butter and coconut oil with essential oils of vanilla, rosemary and other nutrients that naturally protect, nourish, and moisturize the skin. I enjoy using cannabinoids in the form of a balm because then I can use it for more targeted healing in a specific area. The first effects are seen within minutes. In my opinion, my skin instantly feels softer.
Even though Love Hemp Balm is not specifically designed for the face, I decided to use a little bit of it on my face during the night. My face is prone to acne and I’ve read that CBD can regulate sebum production and act against inflammation. While using Love Hemp Balm I haven’t noticed any negative changes on my face. I didn’t get any inflamed acne pimples, so I suspect that this product hasn’t clogged the pores on my face, which can happen with similar products. I would say that the skin on my face was very satisfied with that product.
Since my 30 ml jar of Love CBD Balm is so small, it easily fits into my bag. It’s very easy to carry it when you have to leave your house for several hours. From my experience, it can also be used as a lip balm.
My overall opinion about Love CBD Hemp Balm
Love CBD Balm quickly became one of my favorite cosmetics, which I carry with me all the time. I’ve used it so many times that I can’t believe that I’m only half-way through the jar. This balm is capable of relieving dry skin. You have to apply it carefully, because if you put too much on your skin, it may feel greasy.
Value of Love CBD Hemp Balm
In my honest opinion, Love CBD Hemp Balm has a good value for the money. My small 30 ml jar is long lasting, and the product is well-suited for my skin. At first, you may think that you will use up the Love CBD Balm very quickly, but this product is quite efficient if you use it to cover just a small area of your skin during each use. I would consider this product to be a little bit pricey, but at least it lasts long. It can give your skin a nice relief while keeping it calm and hydrated.
